SUMMARY:Mark Fields Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The day will be divided into two parts. \nFirst\, an in-depth lecture on pines (true pines\, genus Pinus) that will be open to all paid club members free of charge.\nSecond\, a Bring Your Own Tree Critique session. \n\n\nEach participant may bring two trees. Everyone’s first tree will be attended to before second trees are seen.\nMark will critique each tree\, which means assessing both strengths and weaknesses\, and making any recommendations he thinks are appropriate. No actual work will be done on any trees.\nCameras\, including video\, and note-taking are encouraged.\nCost will be $25 per participant.\nSilent observers will be allowed for $5 apiece. They may come and go throughout the full four hours. They may take pictures and notes\, but may not ask questions or make comments; “silent” is the operative word.
