The day will be divided into two parts.
First, an in-depth lecture on pines (true pines, genus Pinus) that will be open to all paid club members free of charge.
Second, a Bring Your Own Tree Critique session.

- Each participant may bring two trees. Everyone’s first tree will be attended to before second trees are seen.
- Mark will critique each tree, which means assessing both strengths and weaknesses, and making any recommendations he thinks are appropriate. No actual work will be done on any trees.
- Cameras, including video, and note-taking are encouraged.
- Cost will be $25 per participant.
- Silent observers will be allowed for $5 apiece. They may come and go throughout the full four hours. They may take pictures and notes, but may not ask questions or make comments; “silent” is the operative word.
